Youth Violence Prevention Week: April 21-27

Join KCKPS, Enough is Enough and ThrYve as we work to bring awareness to violence during Youth Violence Prevention Week. Throughout the week, students involved in their schools Enough is Enough Student Advisory Committee will host different engaging events to bring awareness to their peers.

Here are a few events for the public:

• 3rd Annual KCKPD Community Peace Walk

  • April 20th from 11am-1pm

    • Participants are asked to gather on the southeast corner of 5th and Washington Boulevard in time for the 11 AM start. The short, 1/2 mile, walk is suitable for all ages and follows a level route north on 5th Street to Parallel Parkway. The walk will end with a rally and cook-out, as well as a vehicle display and information tables.
